Description: Our flagship product - Bourbon whisky distilled from our standard mashbill of 90% Wapsie Valley Corn, 10% Malted Barley, and aged in the finest Char #4 barrels available to us from the Adirondack Barrel Cooperage. Not to be confused with our online exclusive batches, our standard cask strength releases will always consist of our standard mashbill, each single barrel varying slightly while maintaining the same general profile.
Tasting Notes: On the nose, an aroma of molasses, cinnamon, and Mexican hot chocolate gives way to rich oak & coffee. On the palate, cacao nibs, coffee, and cinnamon prevail with a through-line of peppermint. Longer, lingering finish of dark chocolate, coffee bean, and molasses - reminiscent of a barrel-aged stout.
